Running crews
Agent packs
Install a prebuilt crew — agents, doctrine, commands and skills — in one click.
An agent pack is a plugin that installs a whole crew: a lead agent and its specialists, each on a model that suits its job, plus the doctrine that tells the lead how to delegate, slash commands that route work, and skills the crew loads when needed. You go from one blank agent to a working team in one click — and the pack keeps the team healthy afterwards.
Before you install
A pack's page in Plugins → Browse shows:
- Adds N agents — the crew it will create. Your plan must have room: agents per account are Free 2, Solo 5, Entrepreneur 25 (a seven-agent pack plus your default agent needs Entrepreneur).
- What it can reach — typically "manage the agents this plugin creates" and "read your model list".
- Capabilities — for example 3 lifecycle events, 1 middleware, 5 commands, 3 skills.
- The readme: who the agents are and how to drive them.
What happens when you install
- The pack creates its agents, marked as coming from the plugin. Specialists sit under the lead as its subagents. Each member is put on the best match among your enabled models (a pack can't bring its own).
- Its doctrine is added to agents' instructions each turn, and its commands and skills appear on your agents.
- From then on, the pack re-checks the crew on each new chat and after each update: a member you deleted comes back; a member whose setup drifted is restored.
If your plan didn't have room for every agent, upgrade and press Re-run setup on the installed plugin's page.
Driving the crew
Talk to the lead like any agent. It delegates to specialists with start_subagent; you'll see a live card per
specialist in the chat (its current step, its cost, a Stop button), and the lead answers you once their reports
are in. Packs usually add commands — for example /orchestrate <goal> or /research <question> — that send a goal
straight to the right specialist.
Changing and removing it
- Edit freely. Crew members are ordinary agents: change their model, persona or access. A pack that re-asserts its definition may restore some of those edits on the next chat — its readme should say so.
- Updates that ask for more access (a new agent, a new permission) wait for your OK on the plugin's page.
- Uninstall deletes the pack's agents and every chat they were in.
