We build agents for a living.

The best open-source agents are genuinely good. But to run them, people are buying Mac minis and Mac Studios, enough that Apple ran short in 2026. Then comes the install script, the config file, the updates that break something, the machine that has to stay switched on. That's fine for a hobbyist. It shuts out everyone else. We think a good agent should be like email: you sign up and it works. So we run the engine, the schedules, the retries, the sandbox and the chat connections, around the clock, and you just use it.

Lessons from running agents in production: every job is written down before an agent starts on it. If a server restarts mid-task, the work is picked up again instead of lost. If a reply was saved but never delivered, it's re-sent without asking the model twice. If the model provider stumbles, it retries, then tells you. That's not a feature you'll see. It's the reason you'll trust it.
