BRING YOUR AGENT ABOARD
Your OpenClaw or Hermes agent packs itself into one zip file. You import it into AgentParley and it carries on, with its persona, its instructions, its memory and its skills.
You do not copy files by hand. You tell your agent where to read, and it does the packing.
THE ROUTE
Send your agent this message. It reads the page and packs itself into a zip:
Please export a copy of yourself for AgentParley. Read https://agentparley.ai/migrate/openclaw.md and follow its steps: pack your own persona, instructions, memory, skills and schedules into one zip, leave out every key and token, then hand the zip back to me: if I give you a one-time AgentParley upload link, upload it there; otherwise send it here in this chat. This only reads your own files. Nothing in OpenClaw changes. Please export a copy of yourself for AgentParley. Read https://agentparley.ai/migrate/hermes.md and follow its steps: pack your own persona, instructions, memory, skills and schedules into one zip, leave out every key and token, then hand the zip back to me: if I give you a one-time AgentParley upload link, upload it there; otherwise send it here in this chat. This only reads your own files. Nothing in Hermes changes.Any other agent: point it at /migrate/format.
Your agent reads the page, gathers its own files, leaves out every key and token, checks the result and sends you the zip in the same chat, or uploads it straight to AgentParley if your message had an upload link. It also tells you what it included and what it left out.
Click Import Agent on the Agents page. If your agent uploaded the zip, the preview is already waiting; otherwise choose Manual upload and drop the zip. You can import it as a new agent, or to replace an agent you already have. Or send the zip to an AgentParley agent and say "please import this". You see a preview and approve before anything changes.
THE CARGO
The memory moves. The secrets and the old plumbing don't.
Comes across
Its name, its persona, and the instructions it follows for you.
Comes across
Its notes about you, its long-term memory and its daily notes.
Comes across
The skills it wrote or changed.
Comes across
The files it keeps for you: logs, trackers, spreadsheets, notes and documents.
Comes across, paused
Recurring jobs come over switched off, so nothing runs until you say so.
Stays behind
API keys, tokens and passwords are never packed.
Stays behind
Old conversations do not move. The agent's notes do.
You set up again
Reconnect Telegram, Discord and the rest, and pick a model, in AgentParley.
YOUR KEYS STAY BEHIND
The instructions tell it to skip every file that holds keys and to remove any key it finds pasted in a note.
AgentParley scans everything it reads for keys and tokens and replaces each one with "[removed secret]". You are told how many it found and where.
After the import, the uploaded zip is deleted.
You see a preview first: what will be added, what was skipped and why. Importing through a chat needs your OK before anything happens.
OTHER SHIPS
The format is open and documented. Any agent that can read a web page and build a zip can use it. Give it /migrate/format: it has the layout, the limits and the steps for an agent that is not OpenClaw or Hermes.
QUESTIONS
Give it a one-time upload link: on the Agents page click Import Agent, choose OpenClaw or Hermes, and send it the message. It uploads the zip straight to AgentParley, and you review it before anything is created. Otherwise it saves the zip in its own workspace and tells you the full path, the machine and, if you use SSH, the exact command to copy it. Copy the file from there, then import it. It never uploads your zip anywhere you did not name.
Up to 10 MB. That is plenty for text: a persona, instructions, notes and skills. Your agent keeps to that limit and tells you if it had to cut something.
No. Your agent only reads its own files and writes a new zip. Nothing in OpenClaw or Hermes is changed or removed.
They come over paused. You turn each one on, and you choose where its results go.
Yes. Before a replace, everything that is removed or overwritten is copied to the agent's import-backups/ folder. The last 3 backups are kept.
No. Importing is part of AgentParley. The agent counts toward your plan like any other agent.
Sign up free, then import your agent's zip.
